PROTOTYPING

PROTOTYPING

The final product within reach

A prototype is based on the previous development and design in a CAD system, taking into account the knowledge and experience resulting from the mock-up. It is the ultimate project phase of development and the final step before serial production. It is a physical model in full size. The substructure and all parts of the prototype are made of final materials, using the same or similar technology as in serial production. The prototype represents the first real product undergoing tests of the heaviest load and all functionalities, including assembly and maintenance. In contrast to the serial product, a prototype is designed to be still flexible and allows the implementation of last corrections and changes.

Between mock-up and prototype, there is a long constructive phase, which means intensive discussion and exchange of information both with the customer, as well as with future manufacturers of the product and its parts. The goal is to use all available sources of knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible result.
